REPBREAK & YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sarken Tech ("Sarken Tech," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use RepBreak, including the mobile app and the RepBreak website.

The short version

You can use core movement features without creating an account. Exercise plans, reminders, completed sessions, progress, recovery check-ins, and preferences are first stored on your device. If you create an account and use sync, the app sends account and workout data to our server so signed-in features can work. Some versions or configurations of RepBreak may also show advertising.

This policy describes the features available across RepBreak. The data used by your installed version depends on its configuration, the features you use, your choices, and the permissions you grant.

Information we handle

Information stored on your device

RepBreak stores data needed to run the app locally, such as exercises and custom exercise content, daily plans, reminder schedules, session history, active time, repetitions, XP and scores, streak and mastery progress, daily goals, appearance and other preferences, onboarding answers, weekly muscle focus, and recovery check-ins such as pain level, energy level, and optional notes. The app also stores account session information when you sign in.

Local notification schedules and delivered-notification information are handled through your device’s notification system. You can manage notification permission in device settings.

Account and sync information

If you create an account, we receive your email address, display name, password, and account dates and status. The server stores a one-way hash of your password rather than the raw password. When an authenticated sync occurs, we may receive the account details above plus your profile settings, onboarding assessment, plans, reminders, exercise catalogue and custom exercise content, session and daily activity history, mastery data, weekly muscle focus, and recovery check-ins.

Sync is account-scoped. Signed-in server features use this information to save a current workout snapshot, calculate server-authoritative progress, support account administration, and provide account-enabled features. Automatic cross-device restoration and conflict-resolution controls may not be available in every version.

Leaderboard information

If you participate through an account, your display name, rank, and activity-derived score may be visible to other people on RepBreak leaderboards. Do not use a display name you do not want shown publicly.

Purchases

If you buy or restore RepBreak Premium, the app store processes the payment. RepBreak sends purchase proof to our server for verification with Apple or Google. We may keep the platform, product, transaction reference, purchase date, entitlement status, and a cryptographic hash derived from the purchase token or transaction so we can provide Premium access and prevent one purchase from being claimed by multiple accounts. We do not receive your full payment-card details from the app store.

Website, server, and support information

When you connect to the website or API, the servers involved in delivering and protecting the service receive ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, device or browser information, and error or diagnostic details. If you contact us, we receive your message, contact details, and anything else you choose to include.

Videos you choose to share

RepBreak can let you select or record a workout video, add RepBreak branding on your device, optionally save the exported video to your photo library, and open your device’s share sheet. The app requests camera, microphone, photo-library, or media access only when needed for choices you make. The selected destination app or service receives the video when you choose it and handles the video under its own privacy terms. RepBreak does not upload those videos to the RepBreak sync server.

Why we use information

  • Provide local exercise, planning, reminder, session, progress, and personalization features.
  • Create and secure accounts, authenticate sessions, and sync eligible app data.
  • Calculate progress and leaderboard rankings and display public leaderboard entries.
  • Verify purchases and provide or restore Premium features.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve RepBreak and respond to support or privacy requests.
  • Show, measure, and protect advertising when advertising is enabled, as described below.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.

Advertising and tracking choices

Advertising is available only in versions and configurations where ad services and live ad units are enabled. Release versions without configured ad units do not request live ads. Premium or ad-free features may also prevent ad initialization.

When advertising is enabled, RepBreak uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s advertising partners. According to Google’s SDK disclosures, the SDK may automatically collect or share IP address (which can be used to estimate general location), device or app identifiers, information about ads and app interactions such as launches, taps, and video views, and diagnostics such as launch time, hangs, and energy usage. Google describes these uses as advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Optional ad features or partners may have additional practices.

Where required, RepBreak presents consent choices before requesting ads. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency permission controls access to the advertising identifier and permission for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. Denying that permission does not grant another permission and does not prevent every ad-related data transfer: the app may request non-personalized or limited ads where allowed, and those modes can still use data or local identifiers for purposes such as frequency limits, aggregated reporting, security, and basic ad delivery. Non-personalized ads therefore do not mean that no data is collected.

You can use any privacy-options entry point shown in the app when required, change iOS tracking permission in device settings, and use Android advertising controls where available. Google explains its advertising technologies and controls in its Advertising policies and technologies information.

When information is disclosed

  • Public leaderboard: your display name, rank, and score may be visible to other RepBreak users.
  • Apple and Google: app stores process purchases and help us verify purchase proof. Google and its advertising partners handle ad-related data when advertising is enabled.
  • Infrastructure and support: service providers may process information as needed to host, deliver, secure, diagnose, or support RepBreak.
  • Destinations you select: a video or other content is disclosed to an app or service only when you choose that destination through your device’s sharing controls.
  • Legal and safety reasons: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, or investigate misuse.
  • Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate handling.

Links and source material in RepBreak, including MedlinePlus health-nugget links, lead to services we do not control. Their privacy terms apply when you visit them.

Storage, retention, and international handling

Device-local data remains on your device until you remove it through available app or device controls, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app, subject to how your device handles backups. Removing local data does not automatically delete server data already synced to an account.

We retain server and support information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account and purchase records, protect the service, resolve disputes, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the type of information and why it is held; we do not promise a fixed period for every category.

RepBreak and the services it relies on may process information in countries other than where you live. Privacy laws and government-access rules may differ in those places.

Your choices and requests

You can use core local features without an account, decline optional device permissions, manage notifications and tracking in device settings, choose whether to share a video, and avoid the public leaderboard by not using account-enabled participation.

Account and data requests: RepBreak does not currently promise an in-app self-service account deletion control. To request access, correction, or deletion of account-linked server data, or to ask another privacy question, email solutions@siteclinch.com from the address associated with your account when possible. We may need to verify the request. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.

Deleting an account through our supported operator process removes the account and account-linked application records that are configured to be deleted with it. Information may still be retained where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose.

Children

RepBreak is a general-audience movement app and is not directed specifically to children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information through RepBreak without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the situation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RepBreak, its configuration, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and change the effective date. If a change is material, we may also provide notice in the app or through another appropriate channel.
